Triathlon 101: A Free Introduction

On a crisp Sunday morning, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., we invite you to enter the triathlon world. This no-cost session is designed to demystify the sport for beginners and provide valuable insights into swimming, biking, and running. There's no need to register—just come dressed in workout clothes and shoes, ready to learn and have fun.

Dive Deeper with Swim Clinics

For those looking to refine their aquatic skills, we offer specialized swim clinics on January 18th and February 2nd. These sessions are tailored for advanced swimmers aged nine and above, focusing on enhancing speed, endurance, and efficiency. The clinics include drill reviews and video feedback to help perfect your technique. The cost is $50 for non-members of The W and $35 for members—a small price for a big leap in your swimming prowess.

Comprehensive Triathlon Training

Starting February 5th, join us every Wednesday evening through April 30th for comprehensive triathlon training. From 6-8 p.m., we'll cover everything from swim techniques and endurance training to cycling skills and efficient transitions. Plus, we'll touch on nutrition basics, yoga, and meditation to ensure you're well-prepared not just physically but mentally and emotionally. This program is open to all skill levels, with a fee structure of $250 for guests, $150 for members, and $80 for students.

The Tri by Knight Triathlon

All this training leads up to the main event—the Tri by Knight Triathlon on May 3rd. Celebrating its 14th year, this early-season sprint triathlon is a USAT-sanctioned event featuring a 300-yard swim, a 15-mile bike ride, and a 3.1-mile run. Secure your spot now for $70; after the first 200 registrations, the fee increases to $80.
