Why TriLaunchpad exists

You belong at the start line.

The forty-tab problem

Most people who want to try a triathlon never get past “someday.” Not because they lack fitness, but because the first week of research buries them: forty tabs open, three training plans that contradict each other, a gear list that costs more than the race, and a nagging feeling that everyone else already knows the rules.

That was me before my first race. I spent more evenings reading about triathlon than training for it. What finally got me to the start line was not more information. It was one clear next step, then the next one.

What we believe

Starting a triathlon should not require a PhD in triathlon. Every beginner deserves a plain-language path from “I want to try this” to “I know what to do on race morning.” That is the whole reason TriLaunchpad exists.

What TriLaunchpad is

A home base for people who decided to try triathlon and want to start right:

  • Race intelligence. Beginner-friendly event listings worldwide, with briefs that tell you what the course actually feels like.
  • Guides in plain language. Training basics, gear you actually need, open-water confidence, race-day essentials, in English, Spanish and German.
  • V.E.C.T.O.R., an AI coach that answers the questions you were embarrassed to ask.
  • TriSpirit Outfitters. Gear and gifts designed around the real moments of a first season: the night-before bag, the T1 mat, the walk into transition, the support crew at the barrier.

Behind it is one triathlete, not a media company. I am Francisco: founder, first-place finisher at Triatlón Tampico, and a sprint finisher at the World Triathlon Championship Finals in Pontevedra 2026. Everything here is filtered through what I wish I had known at the start.

Your plan

  1. Take the free Readiness Assessment (about ten minutes, and the ten most useful minutes of your first season).
  2. Get a plan sized to where you are, not to a pro.
  3. Show up on race morning already knowing what to do.

What we promise

  • No elite intimidation. Plain language, jargon explained.
  • Gear you actually need, at a fair price, made to order.
  • A human answers. Reply to any email and it reaches me.

Where this ends

At a start line where you feel like you belong, and a finish line you remember for the rest of your life. Then, if you are like most of us, at the registration page for the next one.

See you out there.
